Actor Vikram Chatterjee, who became a household name for playing the lead role in the TV series Phagun Bou, is on a busy schedule these days as he has several projects in his kitty. The charming actor has recently started shooting for Dibya Chatterjee's film 'Omor Sangi' in which he will be seen opposite Sohini Sarkar. And now, it is known that Vikram Chatterjee will be seen playing one of the popular detective characters 'Kiriti Roy' in a new film, produced by Camellia Productions Pvt. Ltd.
Going by the latest reports, Vikram Chatterjee has been approached by the makers to play 'Kiriti Roy', created by Dr. Nihar Ranjan Gupta. However, the producers have not yet decided which director from industry will direct the film.
We previously saw Indraneil Sengupta playing the role of 'Kiriti Roy' in Anindya Bikas Datta's film 'Nilacholey Kiriti' which was also produced by Camellia Productions. But since Indraneil Sengupta has been playing the role of Feluda on screen for the past few years, the makers have decided to bring a new face on screen as 'Kiriti Roy'. And they approached Vikram Chatterjee to play the role.
And talking about Vikram Chatterjee, he has several interesting movies in his kitty including Pariah, 'Durgapur Junction', and 'Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi'. Directed by Tathagata Mukherjee, Pariah is one of the much-awaited action entertainer films where Vikram will play the male lead and Angana Roy will play his love interest. And talking about 'Durgapur Junction', it's an upcoming thriller film, starring Vikram Chatterjee and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles. And 'Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi' is a romantic adventure drama film where Vikram Chatterjee will play the male lead alongside Madhumita Sarcar and Darshana Banik.
